Becky Abu-Rahmeh is the SP Educator for AdventHealth Medical Simulations in Orlando, FL. Becky has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and has taught grades K3-8th grade over the years and then homeschooled her two boys from kindergarten to 12th grade. She discovered acting in high school and has always been involved in performing with theatre as well as some film projects for over 30 years. Becky has also written children’s drama and scripts, taught acting classes for 4th & 5th graders, and assisted in directing shows with her local church’s massive productions for several seasons.

She started out as a Standardized Patient in 2016 for AdventHealth’s simulation program and then moved to SP Educator in 2018. In acting terms, she is the casting director and acting coach for the actors as well as the assistant director on-site for new or intense simulations to provide coaching when needed and to ensure physical and psychological safety for her team of actors. Discovering how to use her acting skills in the medical profession has been an absolute delight as it has been a way to use her gifts to impact how medical professionals interact with patients.

Lindsey Barnett
Operations Ninja

With a BA in Theatre from the University of Tennessee, Lindsey did what every actor does after a few years in the business - she joined the corporate world! (*wink*) After years of being away from her passion, Lindsey is ecstatic to jump back to her roots. She has been working with kids' music camps since the 7th grade - choreographing, directing and sometimes performing. Her favorite stage roles include Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Lady Capulet (Romeo & Juliet) and Poppy (Noises Off). Most recently, Lindsey was found singing with the Voices of Liberty in Epcot's Candlelight Processional at Walt Disney World.

Naida Hardy
Parent Connections Coordinator

Naida was an elementary teacher for 21 years, then served as Preschool Director, Kids Ministry Director, and Kids Worship Director at First Baptist Orlando.  She instituted a legacy of Summer Music Day Camps in 2010. She loves traveling the world, mission trips, pickleball, the beach, dancing, eating healthy, making music, participating in skits and presentations (in non-speaking roles) hanging with kids, supporting parents, and my four amazing grandchildren--but I love Jesus more than all of these.

Jonathan Hickey
Magic Maker

Jonathan Hickey is an award-winning writer and director with over 20 years of experience working in theatrical and church productions.

Jonathan started in children’s theater and at the Holy Land Experience, where he co-wrote many productions with his friend and writing partner, George Livings. For 7 years, he was also the director of the Singing Christmas Trees at First Baptist Orlando, where he currently serves as Creative Director. Jonathan lives in Winter Garden, with his wife Joye and their five children. He is passionate about helping others use their talents to glorify God.

Paula Keller
Chief of Things No One Wants to Do

Paula is a Daughter of the King, Wife, Mom to three beautiful young ladies, and a Pre-K Teacher. She has enjoyed being in many productions of The Light, The Singing Christmas Trees, and student ministry choir musicals (a long time ago). She has served in children’s music ministry for several years and continues to volunteer with the KIDS ministry at First Baptist Orlando.

Her family enjoys going to the theme parks together whenever they can. She also enjoys watercolor painting, and occasionally a Netflix binge. This summer music day camp is a wonderful opportunity for her to serve alongside friends with the hopes of igniting the passion for theatre in another generation of actors.

Joan Peterson
Do-Re-Mi Director

Joan loves leading music camps for kids! She has worked with summer music camps in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida and New York for over 20 years. Making fun musical memories with excellent performances is her specialty. Joan has taught music to ages 3 through 93 in school, church and camp settings. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education and was selected as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. Realizing that music is a gift from God, her favorite thing is to teach people about the Lord and His Word using the gifts He has given them.

Joan and her husband Stephen moved to the Orlando area to continue their obsession with all things Disney. They are the proud parents of two very musical toy poodles.  She has worked with several large churches in the area, and currently teaches Lower School Music at Windermere Preparatory School.

Suzanne Pickens
Twirl Girl

Suzanne Pickens is excited to help train the next generation of artists to share their gifts skillfully, as unto the Lord.  She has danced the role of Sugar Plum Fairy, taught ballet, choreographed for schools, studios, and churches, helped develop the Dance and Discipleship program, and studied and led worship in both dance and song.  She most enjoys glorifying God by serving in whatever capacity is needed, and continuing to work toward excellence in all God has entrusted to her.  Currently this means loving and training her 4 children: ages 2, 5, 7, and 11.

Michael Prichard
Chief (FEO) Face Expressions Officer

When he’s not working with customer service specialists arranging shelves of food, Michael lends his vocal intonations to local singing groups and choirs.  He has been involved in skits, production, VBS, and of course the Singing Christmas Trees.  He has a high tolerance for pain (he performed not once, but twice on a broken leg) and has never met an ice cream flavor he doesn’t like. Michael has volunteered for multiple kids music camps and is a photography enthusiast lending his skills to document the camp experience.

Trish Seaton
Prop Star

Trish was born and raised in Memphis, TN, where she was married in 2003. She and her husband moved to Florida at the beginning of 2009. They have three beautiful kids, Robert, Cameron, and Melody. Trish is a homeschool mom/tutor. In 2010, she started helping with the Singing Christmas Trees at First Baptist Orlando, as a kids helper. The following year, and up til COVID, she moved to Stage Management, helping with props and other stage tasks. In 2018 and 2019, Trish was asked to call The Light, which was a fun new adventure. She has been a part of her church’s Broadcast and Production team for the last eight years and a part of four Summer Music Day Camps. The first two Camps, as an Admin/check-in person, and the last two, as one of the Prop leaders. Trish loves being a person behind the scenes, instead of one in them.

Xio Seliga
Step-Ball-Change Arranger

Miss Xio started walking and dancing almost simultaneously. As a classically trained dancer, she developed a passion for the performing arts at a young age and feels extremely grateful to have continuously found outlets to do what she loves. Miss Xio began her dance training at Academia de Ballet Tanya in Puerto Rico before moving to Orlando and continuing her training at James Dance Center under Judy James and Juan Sanchez. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where she minored in dance and trained under Russell Sultzbach, Dr. Suzanne Salapa, and Dr. W. Robert Sherry. Choreographer credits include Rollins Dancers’ “Attitudes,” various projects for Hunter’s Creek Middle School, and various programs at First Baptist Church of Orlando including VBS, Summer Music Day Camp, The Light, and The Singing Christmas Trees.

Dawn West
Director of Cues and Chaos

Dawn West began her creative journey at the age of 11 in a Jr. High production of Pirates of Penzance as the set painting lead and Act I curtain puller.  She continued her journey through High School, College and a 24-year career at a theme park and 2 years running a carpentry shop to teach homeless men and women a job skill.  She began working with a group of Christ minded creatives at First Orlando backstage at their Christmas presentation and found her tribe.  Working in a creative arts medium that was Christ centered was the best of both worlds.  She eventually earned a spot in “The Big Girl Chair” leading the Stage Management team on creative events including Trees, The Light, Kids Night of Worship, Summer Music Camp and taught in the “True North” program that gave Elementary school kids other creative options besides choir.  She still serves on the broadcast team at First Orlando on Sundays.
